The Horticulture Section will be judged on Saturday 25 July.
Antrim Agricultural Society are pleased to present their 118th Annual Show.
EXHIBITS MUST BE STAGED BETWEEN 2.00pm and 6.30pm ON FRIDAY 24 JULY 2026, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF HORTICULTURE AND HOME BAKING ENTRIES WHICH MAY BE STAGED UP TO 9.30am ON SATURDAY 25 JULY 2026.
HOME BAKING, EGGS AND HORTICULTURAL CLASSES WILL BE JUDGED ON SATURDAY 25 JULY 2026. ALL OTHER CLASSES WILL BE JUDGED ON FRIDAY 24 JULY 2026 at 6.30pm.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
ENTRIES
1. Online Entries can be made at antrimshow.com.
2. Entry Fee: £1.00 per entry (unless otherwise stated)
WI Team Competition - £5.00 per Team
3. No late entries will be accepted (with the exception of Horticulture Exhibits).
4. All entries shall be made on the prescribed form and lodged with the necessary fees.
5.. Any exhibitor may stage several exhibits in any class.
6. PLEASE NOTE – where the total entry fee is £10 or more, a Free Adult Pass will be issued.
All Children Under 12 get free admission to the Show but where entry fees come to £10 or more, a Free Adult Pass will be issued.
STAGING EXHIBITS AT THE SHOW:
6. Exhibitor number cards will be issued to exhibitors on arrival.
7. ALL EXHIBITS MUST BE STAGED BETWEEN 2.00pm and 6.30pm ON FRIDAY 24 JULY 2026. ONLY HOME BAKING & HORTICULTURE ENTRIES CAN BE STAGED ON SATURDAY 25 JULY 2026 BETWEEN 8am and 9.30am. ALL EXHIBITS MUST BE STAGED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DIRECTIONS OF THE STEWARDS.
8. JUDGING WILL COMMENCE AT 6.30pm ON FRIDAY 24 JULY 2026 AND 9.30am ON SATURDAY 25 JULY 2026.
9. The Show Committee will exercise the greatest possible care of articles exhibited but cannot be responsible for loss or damage to exhibitors’ property while in the Show Grounds.
RULES:
10. No two or more people may exhibit in the same class from the same garden, and exhibitors are prohibited from combining for the purpose of the Show.
11. Exhibitors are asked to provide their own vases for cut flowers.
12. All vegetables must be washed, suitable for table use.
13. Any article that has won a prize in a previous Antrim Show cannot be re-entered.
14. The Judge’s decision will be final, with regards to merit or points of qualification.
15. No exhibitor may remain in the place of exhibition during the time when judging is in progress.
16. All exhibits must have been grown, made or produced by the exhibitor, except in the Floral Art section.
17. All prizes are awarded at the discretion of the Judges, who may withhold the prizes if they consider the exhibits are not worthy of an award.
COLLECTION OF EXHIBITS:
18. ALL EXHIBITS AND PRIZE MONEY MUST BE CLAIMED FROM 4.00pm ON SATURDAY 25 JULY 2026. THE SOCIETY CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR EXHIBITS NOT CLAIMED.
CARS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED IN THE SHOW FIELD
UNTIL AFTER 4.30pm ON SHOW DAY.
A PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES WILL TAKE PLACE AT 3.30pm ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
